Opera Opulenza presents “Seasons of Love”, a concert celebrating love in all its joys and struggles. From Musetta’s coquettish waltz in “La Bohème” to Pamina’s heartrending lament in “The Magic Flute”, these jewels of the repertoire remind us that nothing lasts forever, and the heart changes like the seasons.

“Seasons of Love” is our offering to our friends at the VSO, in hopes of a vibrant return to music and friendship, post-pandemic.

Our second online opera concert “A Pretty Night”, a journey through some of the world’s most popular and emotional arias, performed by award-winning soprano Catherine Thornsley and pianist Roger Parton. For this concert, filmed at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, we engaged cinematographers Willy Wong and recent Emily Carr University graduate Warren Tang.
